This plan was created to:
- Help athletes train and prepare for the 3 mile physical fitness test administered by the US Marine Corps, or any other physical fitness tests administered by other branches of military, law enforcement etc.
- Teach athletes:
- Basic skills and techniques of good running.
- How to build up the anaerobic capacity through intensity.
- How to effectively add volume into training to develop fuel efficiency, aerobic endurance and build confidence.
This is a generalized basic program to help athletes of varying abilities.
